Hi all, I plan to share in snipets our experience of buying a house in China. The purchase transaction was actually somewhat straightforward with the agent that we had. There are no escrow companies like we are used to back in the States. It is mostly the bank holding the note that is involved in both releasing and finalizing the paperwork.

Remodeling and then selling the property was, well shall we say a lot more interesting.
